Two separate organizations
Behind BUDE are two different organizations. A commercial manufacturer builds insulated dog houses to a single, tested design and earns a reasonable, fixed margin on every unit — this is a business, not a charity. The Foundation is a separate, non-commercial organization that raises donations, selects locations with local volunteers, and publishes exactly how every lari is spent.
This split is deliberate. The manufacturer never has to hide its margin, because it is published up front. The Foundation never has to run a factory, which is not what it is good at. Each does the part it is built for, and both are accountable in public.
Houses are manufactured by a commercial partner company, which earns a stated margin on production. The Foundation is a separate non-commercial organization and publishes how every donation is spent.

- One fixed price keeps the model simple and auditable. Every donor knows exactly what their money buys, and every house — regardless of location — costs the same to build, ship, and install.
- Who actually builds the houses?

- Why does a "non-commercial foundation" work with a for-profit company?
- Because building things well at scale is a manufacturing problem, and manufacturing problems are usually solved better by manufacturers. Keeping the two entities separate — one builds, one funds and publishes — means neither role is compromised by the other.
- Can I choose exactly where my house goes?
- Yes. Every listing on the map is a specific proposed or in-progress location. When you fund a house, you are funding that pin, not a general pool.
- What happens after a house is fully funded?
- It moves to production, then installation. Once installed, its page shows the install date and the QR code printed on the physical unit.
